While talking to the DEADLINE, filmmaker Chris Sanders has officially announced a sequel and claimed the “work in progress” already. The statement reads, “100% yes! Usually, it takes around two to three years for developing a sequel — but keeping the modern standards of animation companies (and so the Hollywood), I won’t be surprised if we gets sequels and prequels every year.
