Bella Thorne Has Helped In Editing Saint Clare Movie, A Serial-Killer Based Project

Starring Bella Thorne, the Saint Clare movie is among those upcoming creepy movies which might give you nightmares – and what if I say that Bella herself is the one behind the editing process? Well, it’s true!

As reported by Deadline, Bella Thorne has played a key role in not only the movie – but also as an editor for Saint Clare, her thrilling movie where she is portraying the character of a young girl. The movie was first announced back in 2019 and although it sounds a bit too old – we should not forget about the global scenarios such as COVID-19 pandemic that stopped almost everything worldwide.

Now finally back in 2022, Bella signed a contract to play the lead role in Saint Clare movie and in fact – many few people knows that she herself is the one who bought Mitzi Peirone onboard to direct this sci-fi thriller.

While speaking to Deadline, the Disney actress confirmed how she has managed to contribute in the process of editing for Saint Clare. The project has received it’s world premiere at the Taormina Film Festival and the early reviews of critics are quiet impressive (and mixed).

According to IMDB, “Saint Clare movie presents itself as a clever and amusing dystopian look at modern society.” It should be noted that the project was initially announced under the tag name of “Clare,” that later got transformed into Saint Clare.

The official synopsis of the movie reads as, “In a small town a solitary woman is haunted by voices that lead her to assassinate ill intended people and get away with it, until her last kill sucks her down a rabbit hole riddled with corruption, trafficking and visions from the beyond.”

Talking about the cast then apart from Bella as Clare Bleecker, it involves names like Rebecca De Mornay, Ryan Phillippe, Frank Whalaly, Tord Bridges, Bart Johanson and more.

Saint Clare movie will release on September 5, 2024 in Russia – meanwhile the US dates are yet to be announced.
