Nintendo Direct 2023 : All Top Best Announcements So Far

2023 is proving to be one of the busiest year for Nintendo. With a huge success of The Super Mario Bros Movie, now the company has revealed multiple big announcements in it’s fan-favorite Nintendo Direct event.

Tons of new games and updates are going to land in the near future and here’s everything that you need to know about all best announcements which got revealed during this live stream along with their official trailers!

Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD

We knows that this game was under development since quite some time. Many of us was speculating it to land by the end of 2023 itself and finally Nintendo Direct has revealed everything about it.

The company has released a brand new and first official trailer for the game where we can watch our Luigi who is struggling with the ghosts.

The biggest modification which the game is going to release is an opportunity to play it in a “multiplayer mode”. Now the players can create a team of four and can fight against the ghosts all together. Also Luigi can catch multiple ghosts with his updated device, which is looking quite cool.

The game is set to release in the summers of 2024 and fans are already making multiple theories about it’s new levels and upgrades. Luigi’s Mansion 2 HD, as the name suggests, is going to be in a very high quality which will again give a new experience to the players.

Paper Mario: The Thousand-Year Door HD

Another big update that got revealed during this event is a remastered version of the Paper Mario. The newly modified and enhanced version of this game will release straight on Nintendo Switch next year.

The company has also released an official trailer for it where we can take a clear idea about it. The game is showcasing the classic Mario places along with some similar faces like ghosts and others.

Whether or not this game will introduce new levels or challenges is still hidden but it is definitely going to be worth it.

Mario vs. Donkey Kong Remake

After watching The Super Mario Bros Movie, we were willing to dive back into the world of our beloved Donkey Kong. Finally the company is bringing a remake of it’s popular original game that was released back in 2004 for the GBA.

The Mario vs. Donkey Kong Remake is coming to Nintendo Switch on February 16, 2024, so we are just few months away from an epic game.

In the official trailer, it has been revealed that the Donkey Kong has stolen every single Mario toy from the factory and now it’s up to the Mario to track him down. To win the game, you have to pay some special focus on your observations and actions, because every stage is going to bring you a new trap.

In this updated version of the game, you can also play with your friends, which will again add a new vibe into it.

F-Zero 99

Finally the first F-Zero game is returning with the whole new challenges and surprises. As the name suggests, F-Zero 99 is an updates version of it’s original game where this time, you will be competing against Ninety-Nine other players.

To no one’s surprise, this game is releasing on Nintendo Switch starting from today (14th September, 2023) itself.

You can race on some terrifying tracks and classic maps while spending you attention on your power meter. To enhance it, you can just use your power meters while you can also unlock many other weapons in the race itself.

Princess Peach: Showtime!

Everyone knows that Princess Peach deserves more games. Finally Nintendo is bringing a whole new and a unique game dedicated on our lovely Peach. Originally, this game was under active development since last two years and now we’ve gotten a full length trailer.

The theme of this game says, “one day a loyal toad shows an advertisement about a special event at the sparkle theatre. When Princess Peach goes to attend the event, the Wicked Grape and the Sour Budge makes their grand enterance. Now it’s up to Peach to save the day and help in conducting the event peacefully”

The biggest surprise that we are getting in this game is the powers of Peach’s ribbon. You will be able to change her into various different versions, like a “Sword Fighter Peach”, “Detective Peach” and much more.

Princess Peach: Showtime is set to release exclusively on the Nintendo Switch on March 22, 2024!

Tomb Raider 1, 2, and 3 Remasters

The original Tomb Raider along with Tomb Raider 2 & 3 are getting the remaster treatment for Nintendo’s hyrbrid console. Out on February 14, 2024, the remaster compilation will have an option for players to toggle between the updated visuals and the original polygon look for some retro flair.

Updated visuals aside, the remasters will also include expansions and secret levels for each game. Also you may get a chance to watch some unexpected surprises while playing the game, which again makes it a must-try installment.

Splatoon 3’s Side Order

Featuring a brand new story, the single player Side Order DLC will challenge you to ascend the Spire of Order in an experience that is designed to be replayed over and over!

The Splatoon 3: Expansion Pass – Side Order DLC is releasing in Spring of 2024 and will introduce you to a brand new character named Archt. You will be getting multiple color chips which can help you in enhancing you abilities while fighting.

Whether or not these chips are free is not revealed yet but the fans are already looking forward to give it a try.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown

Now Prince Of Persia The Lost Crown is an action-adventure platformer game set in a mythological Persian world. You have to guide Sargon the warrior in saving the Prince and restore the world’s balance.

The main point of attraction is that Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown will be having a 2-D side-scrolling action-adventure gameplay, which will give a classic vibe to it’s players. The main motive of the players is going to protect the warrior from bows, traps and other threats along with a mythical monster.

Prince Of Persia: The Lost Crown will release on January 18, 2024.

Super Mario RPG Remake

We got another look at Super Mario RPG Remake, which was announced at the previous Nintendo Direct showcase. The latest trailer showed another look at gameplay of this Super Nintendo classic.

Super Mario RPG Remake is still coming out on November 17, 2023. The game will also bring tons of surprises for it’s players, along with some new updates as well.

Trombone Champ

Trombone Champ, the goofy rhythm game where you use a trombone is finally coming to Nintendo Switch. Trombone Champ originally came out last year exclusively on PC and it became an indie darling for its unconventional gameplay in its genre.

Alongside a port coming to Nintendo’s hybrid console, we also learned that the Switch version of Trombone Champ will take advantage of the gyro controls or you can use the Joy-Cons IR motion sensor to play the game.

Dave the Diver

Finally after a long wait, Dave The Driver is coming on the hybrid system of Nintendo Switch on October 26, a year shy of its original release date.

If you don’t know then Dave The Driver is a single player casual adventure RPG featuring a deep sea exploration. Dive to fish during the day and manage a sushi bar at night. The gameplay loop will gradually expand, opening up players to new systems, fascinating creatures, and unexplored environments.

Upgrade your gear to delve into the depths and discover what friends, foes, and surprises await in the Blue Hole.

First Look at Wave 6 of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe’s Booster Course Pass

We got first look at the next wave of the Mario Kart 8 DLC. Out this holiday, Wave 6 of the Booster Course Pass introduces a new racing track, Daisy Circuit from Mario Kart Wii, in addition to four new racers: Diddy Kong, Funky Kong, Pauline, and Peachette.

Amiibo Updates for Tears of the Kingdom, Smash Ultimate, and Xenoblade Chronicles 3!

Nintendo took a moment to share some updates n the next wave of Amiibos dropping.

For Super Smash Bros. Ultimate, Sora, the protagonist from Kingdom Hearts who served as the final DLC character, is finally getting his own Amiibo. No firm release date was announced but we do know it will release sometime next year.

Additionaly, Tears of the Kingdom-themed Zelda and Ganondorf Amiibos will release on November 3. While Noah and Miuo from Xenoblade Chronicles 3 are set to get their own Amiibos on January 19, 2024.

Another Code: Recollection Announced

Another Code: Recollection is a new compilation that features Another Code: Two Memories (aka Trace Memory) and its sequel Another Code R, the latter marks the first time the game is releasing in the North American region.

Another Code: Two Memories originally released back in 2005 for the Nintendo DS, while its sequel Another Code R, released four years later on the Nintendo Wii. Both games will be enhanced for the Nintendo Switch and is out on January 19, 2024.

Saga Emerald Beyond

Square Enix announced at today’s event that its sci-fi fantasy RPG series SaGa is getting a new installment subtitled Emerald Beyond, and it arrives on Nintendo Switch next year. Alongside an announcement, the trailer shown off at today’s Nintendo Direct showed viewers different playable characters you will get to select, such as a witch, a songtress mech, and a puppetmaster.

Apart from all these updates and announcements, Nintendo is actively working on the performances and updates of it’s pre-existing games, and it seems like a lot more is coming in next few years. But as per now, these were some big and exciting announcements of Nintendo Direct 2023.
