After the ups and down of Hollywood in 2023, we are entering into 2024. New characters, new movies, TV Shows and more importantly, brand new arc rivals and phases. DC will enter into it’s rebooted era while Marvel will be taking a deep look at it’s multiverse.
On the other hand, animation studios like Disney, Pixar and DreamWorks are also going to deliver us some of the highly anticipated projects next year. So what’s the big deal? Well, here is the list of “Five Big Events Of Hollywood” that might bring a storm of cash in 2024!
Madame Web (Feb, 2024)
Set to hit theatres on February 14, 2024, Madame Web is a star studded film which is being produced by Sony and Marvel studios. The cast includes some of the most talented names of Hollywood such as Dakota Johnson, Sydney Sweeney, Emma Roberts, Isabela Merced and Adam Scott.
Set in the universe where anything is possible, Dakota Johnson aka Madame Web can see the future events and can even turn the reality in order to live any moment again and again. Sony is describing this movie as a female powerhouse and if reports to be believed then Madame Web will be playing a very important role in establishing a base for spiderverse.
If you don’t know then Sony pictures entertainment is setting up it’s own Spider-Verse, where the company is looking forward to introduce every single spider people at some point in the near future, and that’s what makes this movie even more important.
Kung Fu Panda 4
Next on our list is Po the Panda, who is returning in Kung Fu Panda 4. The movie is set to hit theatres on March 29, 2024 so you don’t have to wait any longer.
This time, the movie is bringing a new villain named Chameleon, a sorceress who can suck the powers of anyone or everyone. Not only this, she can even summon anyone from any point of time, that is, she can control time. In the trailer, she is bringing back Tai Lung and while these two might cause some serious damage for Po, we are also getting Zhen for our Dragon Warrior.
Now DreamWorks has officially confirmed that Kung Fu Panda 4 will be the beginning of a brand new trilogy, in fact, many new reports are suggesting that Zhen might become our next Dragon Warrior and hence, finally giving rest to our beloved Po.
However, we should still wait for the movie but one thing is confirmed, Kung Fu Panda 4 will be breaking almost every single record on box office for sure!
Deadpool 3
Finally a project which is definitely going to dominate for the rest of the year. Set to hit theatres on July 26, 2024, the movie is bringing back our Ryan Reynolds and Hugh Jackman.
Now many new rumors and reports are circulating online regarding the cameos of this movie, some claims the cameo of Taylor Swift, while some even claims the appearance of more then five characters from the original X-Men universe. All we knows is the fact that Deadpool 3 will be playing a vital role for the ongoing phase of multiverse.
The movie is eyeing to release it’s first trailer during the super bowl game of 2024, so we are just around the corner from taking a glimpse of it.
Inside Out 2 (June, 2024)
Anxiety, Envi, Ennui, Embarrassment and our original five emotions are landing all together in Pixar’s upcoming sequel ‘Inside Out 2’! As of now, the movie is set to hit theatres on June 14, 2024 and it feels like no big changes are going to take place in it’s release schedule.
Pixar movies were getting bombed at box office and that makes Inside Out 2, a highly awaited sequel because it is based upon a proven IP.
While you might feel excited about this project, Pixar will have to deal with some of the most important questions such as: ‘Why these new emotions are not in Riley’s parents?’. However, this movie is going to deliver us a wild ride with full of emotions and parents can enjoy some time with their kids and families while watching a beautiful Pixar film after a long time.
Joker: Folie à Deux (October, 2024)
Next comes a movie which is way too important for a studio who is fighting for it’s own existence. Yes, we are talking about the DCEU!
Joker 2 is going to establish a strong base for DC’s new universe which is eyeing for a late 2024 release schedule. This time, Lady Gaga is officially going to replace our Margot Robbie as Harley Quinn while Joaxin Phoenix will be appearing as Joker once again.
As per the reports, Joker 2 is going to be a musical, thrilling with a pinch of horror based movie that will be binding the audience in a ride with full of dark yet an interesting story. No big plot details are out yet but based on some images which were leaked online, we can speculate that Joker will be dealing with his own emotions that are trying to take him back to past.
However, Lady Gaga lead Harley Quinn will be there for him and our duo will explore the city of Gotham in a beautiful way while bringing some action moments also.
Bonus: Sonic The Hedgehog 3 & Zootopia 2
So if you are reading this article till now, then it’s our duty to treat you with a bonus. Well, what’s better then two back to back installments from two big giants of the Hollywood?
Disney might release it’s Zootopia 2 in the last week of November and while nothing has been confirmed officially, the studio has gone through a series of test screenings for this movie. It also means that Zootopia 2 is ready and the company might release it next year for sure!
On the other hand, Paramount will be releasing it’s Sonic The Hedgehog 3 which is among the highly anticipated projects of 2024. Set to hit theatres on December 20, 2024, it will be giving a perfect Christmas treat to it’s audience. The movie is bringing our Shadow into this franchise and while Knuckles, Sonic and others are busy in their lives, this bad buddy will be bringing a lot of chaos for sure.
Reports are also suggesting that we might get a chance to watch some cameos but things can change with time.
