The Unanswered Questions Of Loki Season 2 Episode 1 : Sylvie Variant & Loki Of Future!
By the end of episode 1, we saw Sylvie ,who emerges from a time door near a McDonald’s in 1982. But which Sylvie is this? There is one brief glimpse of Sylvie before the McDonald’s, right before the Loki is mysteriously pruned and ending his “timeslipping” problem.
So there is a chance that this Sylvie , who is working at the McDonalds is not the one we’ve seen in season 1. We knows that He Who Remains has revealed that opening up the multiverse would allow him to reemerge via the infinitely branching timeline. So the real question is, what is going to be the plan of Sylvie in episode 2?.
Before jumping on the answer, we have to talk about the person who has pruned our Loki in the future timeline of episode 1! Who was that person and where did he came from?
Well, Loki returns to the present which means it was not revealed who really pruned him. However, our speculations are going to be with the Loki himself. We now knows that Loki is aware that, at some point, a version of himself will appear at that point in time needing to be pruned to stop the time-slipping.
So there’s a huge possibility that the person who has pruned Loki was none other then himself, but from that timeline.
That means, he took it upon himself to provide this help in order to stop any other incursion in the multiverse. There’s also a chance that the future variant knows about the after effects of these time slippings, so in order to avoid them, he came by himself to send our Loki back in the present.
What Will Happen In Loki Season 2 Episode 2?
So what exactly is going to happen in episode 2? To be honest, we’ve a lot of questions to deal with. The biggest fish is going to be none other then He Who Remains himself.
By the end of episode 1 we can listen to the chaos and the announcement where everyone was being asked to leave the place, indicating towards a danger. There’s a huge possibility that He Who Remains is at the fault behind whatever is going on with the TVA.
When Loki time slips to the future, the TVA is either under attack or the Temporal Loom will blow up. We also knows that Sylvie was pleased to see Loki, which means if she is attacking the TVA, then they aren’t on opposite Sides
Hence, indicating that one or more He Who Remains variants are behind this chaotic attack.
So our speculations says that we’re going to jump even much deeper in this confusing timelines where Mobius will reveal to Loki that many other important members of TVA are messing around with the timelines.
Now Loki might ask Mobius to help him to find the Sylvie of future because she is the one who knows everything that’s going to happen in the near future. Hence, a more chaotic episode.
For the post credits we might see Loki and Mobius exploring the multiversal timelines in order to find a Kang variant who might help them in finding He Who Remains. But it seems very unlikely to happen, however, anything is possible in this multiverse saga and we should keep our hopes high.
