Buster and gang is returning, and it’s third part is under very active state of development at illumination studio. The company which is known for giving us some of the most memorable animated sagas such as Despicable me, The Super Mario Bros and many more, now it is going to deliver us Sing 3.
Despite lack of updates about Sing 3, now we do have some latest news that you may want to know very eagerly. So without wasting much time, here’s everything that you need to know about Sing 3!
Sing 3 Release Date!
The very first thing that people are searching on all over the internet is the release schedule of Sing 3. When could we see Buster and team once again?
Neither Illumination nor any other cast member or director has revealed anything about it’s release date, but we’ve got some reports from our trusted Hollywood insiders which are sharing some of the very promising updates. As of now, the script writing process is under way, and it usually takes two to three months (after considering factors like repurposing, finalizations and more).
Keeping this in mind, we can expect it’s script writing to get finished by mid 2024, hence, the studio can finish it’s other tasks such as the casting and production in the next six months.
Now some external facts such as any unexpected delays, casting issues and schedules can impact it as well. Hence, we should not expect Sing 3 to land in 2024. However, this movie might get finished by early or mid 2025, so expect a late 2025 release schedule for this musical installment.

Sing 3 Cast: Are We Getting Any New Face?
So the next thing is the casting of Sing 3. Are we going to see any new protagonist in this saga? If yes, then which actor or actress may debut in the Sing saga?
As of now, no such updates are out and that’s very logical because we don’t even have a finished script. So we should expect any such updates by late 2024 (at the earliest). Despite these uncertainties, we do knows that a bunch of new characters are definitely going to appear in this franchise. That’s because both the producers and the actors have hinted us time to time about a new adventure, and if they are diving into a new adventure, then they will definitely bring us some new faces.

Meledandri told Variety: “It [Sing 3] will involve characters from the original cast, but it will take us into a new world.” It clearly means that our speculations are correct and we will be getting a whole new adventure with bunch of new characters and talents. So you can now expect some new Hollywood talents to land in this musical saga.
Sing 3 Official Trailer Updates!
Now if our above mentioned speculations and news takes place in reality, and if the company manages to finish the production of Sing 3 by early or mid 2025, then we can speculate it’s first official full length trailer to land by mid 2025 itself.
Remember that we are still talking about it’s full length trailer, it is also possible that illumination might deliver us a short teaser by late 2024 as well, and it’s probability is quite high as well. However, it is so hard to say anything about this particular installment because the movie is still in it’s very early stage of development.
Illumination studio is also making it’s own Nintendo Cinematic Universe where it will bring us tons of gaming based adaptations, just like The Super Mario Bros Movie, but this time, all of these projects are going to get connected with each other (just in the style of Marvel Cinematic Universe). So it could be one of those reasons which can also impact the schedule of Sing 3.
