Despite getting back to back flops on the world-wide box office, DC studios is now moving forward with one of it’s most controversial projects: “Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom!”
The movie is releasing exclusively in theatres on 22 December, 2024 and fans are already looking for it’s streaming release dates. Well, if you among them then no need to go anywhere because in this article, we are revealing everything that you need to know about the streaming dates for Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom!
When Will Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom Release Online?
Aquaman 2 is releasing exclusively in theatres starting from the last week of December 2023. While the box office predictions of this DC sequel are not looking very promising, the streaming schedule of this film is the only thing which can save it from getting bombed.
We should note that neither Warner Bros nor any other official has said a single word on it’s streaming dates, however, we can take an exact idea about it.
Warner Bros is known for releasing it’s projects on it’s streaming platforms 30-45 days after the theatrical run. Normally, almost all of the movies of DC is released on Max streaming services and DC-to-Max record for the longest duration between theatrical and streaming releases was set by The Flash.
Now Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom might surpass this record because it will be needing a longer theatrical run in order to make some profit, which doesn’t seems possible, especially after the Amber Heard controversy.
So keeping this in mind, we should not expect Aquaman 2 to land on Max before late February or Mid March of 2024. It might change on the basis of it’s performance on the box office because we knows that Hollywood is full of surprises and literally anything or everything is possible here.
Max streaming platform is also known for changing the faith of multiple IP’s of the Warner Bros company, the best example can be ‘The Flash‘. The movie was bombed at box office, however, as soon as it got released on the streaming platform, the movie garnered a good amount of views and earned a good amount.

Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom Review: Worth It Or Not?

As of now, the movie is securing a good score of 6/10 on the IGN, however, Rotten Tomatoes is present an opposite side of this movie. The sequel is securing a below average critics score of just 37% which is already spoiling it’s performance.

“Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom is an exhilarating cinematic masterpiece that exceeded all my expectation. The film brilliantly combines stunning visuals with a captivating storyline, immersing audiences in the depth of the Atlantis.“

“First thing first, the story is completely basic and simple and not as gripping as the first film. However the factors that keep you glued to your seats are the visuals and the action sequences which are delight to watch in IMAX 3D.“

“Talking about the visuals, including VFX, CGI and everything, this movie is a complete package in itself. We can also call it as a cheap version of Avatar 2 but the director is cleverly giving a chance to the actors to show off their acting skills. Amber Heard? No she is not a problem at all, but the thing is, Aquaman And The Lost Kingdom was facing the continuity problem.”
